"Set your hearts on things above, where Christ is...not on earthly things."
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus."
Brothers and sisters, I desire for those commands to be abundantly real and true in my life. I desire not to just intellectually assent to them, but to actually live them out.
Yet, it is so hard! We live in a world that seems to do everything it can to pull our hearts from a focus on our Lord and King. We need His strength to be heavenly-focused followers of Christ!
This Sunday, my prayer is that you and I would come with open hearts, ready to hear from the Lord.
May God make this passage the heartbeat of our family! For truly, the ways God can use heavenly-focused believers are beyond our comprehension!

• Have I become so concerned with my opinions and wants, I’ve totally missed what the Scriptures are saying?
• Have I become more focused on the temporal rather than the eternal?
• Do I fear people and long for their ...
